It is not advisable to follow reason with why or because—that is saying the same thing three times. Drop why, and use that instead of because:

✅ The reason these watches are so expensive is that they are made by hand.
❌ The reason why many people dislike Carrie is because she is egotistic.✅ The reason many people dislike Carrie is that she is egotistic.
❌ The reason why I am late is because I missed the bus.
✅ The reason I am late is that I missed the bus.
❌ One of the main reasons why the actress looks so good is because she has her own personal stylist.
✅ One of the main reasons the actress looks so good is that she has her own personal stylist.
Alternatively, use because and drop the reason why:
✅ These watches are expensive because they are made by hand.
✅ Many people dislike Carrie because she is egotistic.
✅ I am late because I missed the bus.
✅ The actress looks so good mainly because she has her own personal stylist.
